This policy covers moenly.com, workout.moenly.com, firetv.moenly.com, and the Moenly apps (currently Only Workout and Remote for Fire TV + Watch). It's short because there isn't much to say — these apps are built to keep as little data as possible.
Only Workout does not require an account, does not have a server, and does not use any analytics or tracking inside the app. Everything you enter — plans, exercises, workout history — is stored only on your device.
Nothing is transmitted anywhere. There is nothing for us to see, store, or lose.
Remote for Fire TV + Watch does not require an account and has no server of ours. It talks directly to the Fire TV devices on your own Wi-Fi network. The devices you have paired, the pairing secret that authorises the app to control them, and your purchase status are stored only on your device.
To find your Fire TV, the app asks the system to look for it on the local network and does not scan for or record anything else. Nothing about your devices or your usage is sent to us.
There is one exception, and it is the only request the app makes to the internet: when you open the apps list, the artwork for each app on your Fire TV is downloaded once from the address your Fire TV itself provides (an Amazon image server) and then kept on your device. The request sends no identifier, no account and no device information — it fetches a picture. You can delete the stored artwork at any time in the app's settings.
On Apple Watch, Only Workout uses HealthKit to read your live heart rate during a workout so it can show it on screen, and to keep a workout session active so rest-timer haptics stay reliable while your wrist is down. This data is processed entirely on-device — it is never transmitted to us, stored on a server, or shared with any third party.
On Android, the app requests the "exact alarm" permission solely to fire reliable rest-timer notifications. It is not used to access any other data.
This website may use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It only reports aggregate numbers, like how many people visited a page.
The one-time Pro purchase inside our apps is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play billing. We never see or store your payment details.
